2024 Boat Season Kicks Off In Charleston, Virginia Beach, and Charlotte
Article Posted Dec 21, 2023The crew at the Jeff Brown Yachts Mid-Atlantic office is gearing up for the 2024 boat show season with back-to-back-to-back East Coast events. First up is the Charleston Boat Show, January 26-28. Now in its 43rd year, the Charleston Boat Show has evolved into an event that kicks-off the Lowcountry’s boating season. The following week, we’ll be at the Mid-Atlantic Sports & Boat Show, at the Virginia Beach Convention Center, from February 2-4. Rounding out the first quarter season is the 4-day Mid-Atlantic Boat Show in Charlotte from February 8-11. These annual gatherings include everything from powerboats to small jon boats, skiffs, cruisers, pontoons, yachts, ski boats, and the latest accessories, electronics and watersports gear. There is something for everyone’s taste, passion, and budget.
With each event comes the perfect opportunity for a closer look at the great offerings from Axopar and BRABUS. We’ll have the best-selling Axopar 28 Cabin, Axopar 28 T-Top, BRABUS Shadow 500 Cabin, along with the award winning, all-weather, all-season Axopar 37 XC Cross Cabin.
Less sports boat, more Gran Turismo, the Axopar 28 Cabin opens up a world of possibilities for extended voyages, and with the Aft Cabin option, this is our biggest-selling model so far. With the capability of seating up to five people within a bright and airy, full weather-protected environment, there’s ample incentive for an owner and guests to spend not just a few hours onboard, but several days and even weeks enjoying their Axopar Cabin version to the full. The highly versatile Axopar 28 T-Top is a multi-purpose, walkaround sport boat that’s popular with recreational and fishing enthusiasts. The T-Top offers all-day protection for passengers in the front and rear, with easy access to tackle and gear from T-top and rail-mounted rod holders. There are 4 aft configurations to choose from, and a host of options that include air-conditioning, bait tanks, rigging tables, and a range of engine sizes.
Unmatched, untamed, uncatchable – With its gorgeous looks, cutting-edge technology and mesmerizing performance, the 28-foot BRABUS Shadow 500 Cabin provides just the right ingredients for your tailor-made, high-octane marine adventure. A partnership between Axopar and BRABUS luxury supercars means each BRABUS boat features world-class Scandinavian design with exceptional German engineering. The fully enclosed cabin is perfect for cold weather, yet equally suited for hot climates by opening the electric roof and side doors. Innovative technology features include dual information displays with customized user interface, Eco/Sport driving modes, drive assistant, and entertainment and media controls. The BRABUS 500 is a powerhouse, with phenomenal acceleration, massive torque, and 50 knots+ performance from a combined 500hp delivered by Mercury Marine’s, dual XS Pro V8 Four Stroke engines.
Axopar’s worldwide impact on boating was taken up another notch with the introduction of the Axopar 37 range. The 37 XC Cross Cabin is the ultimate all-weather crossover between open and enclosed boating. It challenges convention in both looks and onboard functionality, bringing a new way to enjoy boating in all seasons. The 37 XC combines the functionality and ease of movement of a walkaround center console boat, with a spacious, fully enclosed weatherproof cabin. The 37 XC’s distinctive looks and highly efficient and modern hull and cabin design challenge traditional perceptions of a what a sport boat can be. In the main Cabin, there’s comfortable seating easily reconfigured for dining, entertaining, and even sleeping. The innovative Gullwing doors open up a front cabin, bringing an abundance of light and fresh air into the comfortable space. The large bed, toilet compartment and seating add to the creature comforts for extended trips. On deck, you’ll find a lounge area in the bow for relaxing, and like the Axopar 28, you have 4 aft configurations and a host of features and options to choose from. The aft cabin model offers extra sleeping space, and the wet bar options has been one of our most popular sellers. Advance SIMRAD electronics, Fusion entertainment systems, joystick helm controls, bow thrusters, and a range of Mercury Marine engines make for all-around performance and ease of handling. And like all Axopars, you can really dial up the looks with the BRABUS trim package.
