The Month of May Serves Up Boat Shows in Redwood City and Anacortes

Article Posted Apr 30, 2024

The sun is beginning to make itself present, the boating season is kicking off in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest, and Jeff Brown Yachts will be on hand at two boat shows during the third weekend in May.

Pacific Sail & Power, May 16-19 – Redwood City, CA

The 2024 Pacific Sail & Power Boat Show returns to Redwood City’s Westpoint Harbor with an expanded footprint featuring more in-water and on-land displays.  “Along with the top performing Axopar 37 XC, we just confirmed the all-new Axopar 29 will be making its first appearance in Northern California,” said Pete McCormick from Jeff Brown Yachts Sausalito office, “Axopar really leaned into our customers' desires, and the new 29 represents a, "more of more," scaled up version of the top selling 28 model.”

Along with the boats on display, the Pacific Sail & Power Boat Show offers food, entertainment, and four days of seminars, clinics, and hands-on training, that’s fun for all ages.

Pete will be available for private tours through the weekend. You can reserve your spot in advance by reserving your time here.

Anacortes Boat Show, May 16-18 – Anacortes, WA

Tommy Casias and Coleman Rogers from Jeff Brown Yachts Seattle office will be in Anacortes with models from Axopar and the newly arrived Sirena 58.

“The Anacortes show is a great kick-off to the boating season here in the Pacific Northwest,” says Coleman. “The sun is beginning to peak out, and folks are excited to get on the water. We’ll have the Axopar 28 Cabin and 37 XC Cross Cabin on display. Axopar’s all-weather, all-season, Scandinavian roots are well suited for our part of the world and worth a closer look.”

“We’ll be showcasing two premium brands in Anacortes. Both Axopar and Sirena have been awarded a host of honors for design, innovation, and customer satisfaction from the industry’s most import observers,” added Tommy, “ We’re excited to have folks go below decks on the Sirena 58. The thoughtful blend of design and performance from the drawing boards of Germán Frers has produced a yacht that offers unmatched interior volume with a hull that can provide impressive speed, efficient cruising, and exceptional range.”

The Anacortes Boat & Yacht Show is a much-anticipated annual event with new and brokerage boats of all sizes, seminars, rendezvous, and evening activities. A big part of the week is Trawlerfest, which runs concurrently to the boat show from May 14 -18. The five-day event offers a range of highly regarded seminars and educational classes covering topics ranging from weather, maintenance, electrical, communications, engines, electronics, navigation, destinations, and more.

Tommy and Coleman will be on hand for private tours. You can reserve your spot in advance by completing the appointment form here.
