The Riva story began in 1842 with Pietro Riva's exceptional craftsmanship in restoring storm-damaged boats on Lake Iseo, quickly earning a stellar reputation. Under Pietro’s son Ernesto, Riva introduced motorized boats and flourished further with Serafino Riva, transforming the brand into a yachting icon with racing victories in the early 20th century. Carlo Riva elevated the brand in the 1950s, creating designs that became symbols of luxury, notably the iconic Aquarama in 1962. The transition to fibreglass boats began in 1969. Acquired by Ferretti Group in 2000, Riva was revitalized, launching innovative models like the Aquariva and returning to megayacht production, inspired by Carlo Riva's vision.
