Brabus Shadow 500 and Jeff Brown Scouting Competition at Transpac Race Start
Posted Jul 11, 2019While 33 boats surveyed the start line and contemplated racing over 2,000 miles to Hawaii, Jeff Brown spent the day on the new Brabus Shadow 500, scouting his competition for the Transpac Race. Jeff is racing aboard the Swan 60 GOOD CALL with the owner Tom Barker and many crew regulars. GOOD CALL starts the Transpac Race on Friday, July 12th in Division 5.
The 2019 Transpac Race is the 50th running of this spectacular offshore distance race.

Tom Barker sailed his Swan 60, in its inaugural race, to an incredible finish, along with navigator John Gladstone, David Oliver, Erik Rogers, Javier Quiroz, Jeff Brown, Patrick Murray, Tom Parry, & Will Suto. Next stop….Oahu, in the 2019 Transpac 50th Anniversary Race!!!
